EXPLAIN THE ADD BOOK PAGE
The page you've requested help on lets you add books to the site.
We have kept the details needed to a minimum. A guide to those details is listed below.
TITLE: This is the books title.
ISBN: On the back of the book there should be a barcode. Near the barcode there should be a number that begins with the letters ISBN. This is the ISBN number and it is used as a unique identifier for all books. Please enter this number (and only this number from the barcode). AUTHOR: This is the books author. If the book has more then one author please either list the first author or more well known author.
NOTES: This is the only optional value on the page. If you'd like to enter some notes on the books condition or what you thought of the book enter it here...or not, you can leave it blank.
CATEGORY: This is which category on the site your book will be displayed in. Please choose the most obvious category for your book. For instance Agatha Christie books would be added to Fiction - Murder, Mystery & Thriller.
CONDITION: Select from the list whichever of the conditions listed you feel matches the book closely. However please be aware that gross misrepresentation of your books condition will not be viewed favourably by We Swap Books.
BINDING: Hardcover or Paperback?
Next would be adding the bookcover and with this, you have two options
BOOK COVER: We require a picture (photograph or downloaded from elsewhere on the web) to represent your book. The Book cover must not exceed 10KB and must be either a jpg, gif, png or bmp image format.
OR
NO COVER: You can always check this box which means your book will be added to the site using this default image. Please note though, don't check this if you have added an image of the book cover.
