EXPLAIN MY BOOKS PAGE

In your member section you should have come across the tab entitled 'My Books'. This page gives you a list of your books that you've added to the site and lets you do a lot of different functions. This page will try to explain this page. First, the colour key and its purpose.

COLOUR KEY

You should see a box similar to this one in the top right of your My Books page. You might have noticed that some of your books have different coloured background in the listings beneath the colour key and help box. The colours are signifying the status of the books, the numbers are letting you know how many of the books have this status. For instance...

Available (23) : This signifies that in this example this member has 23 books that are available to swap and that no-one has suggested a swap for any of them yet. These books are signified in the book list with a GREEN background.

Swap Awaiting Confirmation (0) : This signifies that on the site right now there is 0 swaps awaiting confirmation. This means the swap is to be confirmed by either this member or the other bookowner. These books are signified in the book list with a RED background.

Suggested Swaps (2) : This means this member has 2 books on the site that other members have suggested swapping. To see details of the swap click the books title or cover. These books are signified in the book list with a BLUE background.

Cross Over Interest (0) : This is great when this happens. This is very similar to raising a Swaps Suggestion but you've suggested a swap for one of their books and they happen to have suggested a swap for one of your books as well. These books are signified in the book list with an ORANGE background.

Swap Completed (2) : This member has completed 2 swaps. If you'd like to leave feedback for the other bookowner then click the book and this will allow you to leave ratings that will affect the other members swapper score. These books are signified in the book list with a PURPLE background.



FILTERS AND PAGING



At the foot of the page, if you have 10 books or more on this system then, you should see the options above. This allows you to move between pages (select the numbers after Pages to move to that page), will allow you to change the order of the books (by date added, title or author) and will allow you to change how many books are displayed on each page (10, 25 or 50).

The filters option in the moment will allow you to change which books you are displaying. You can show all your books, books that are active on the site (swaps completed or awaiting confirm are removed from the view, not the site just the view), swaps suggested for your books, books awaiting swaps confirm and finally swap books. Please note though if you change this option or the Order By option you have to click the GO button to enable your changes.
